딸들을 위한 기도

하나님께서는 저에게 크신 은혜를 베푸셔서 귀한 자녀들을 허락하셨습니다. 그들은 저의 기쁨이자 하나님께서 맡겨주신 소중한 선물입니다. 하나님의 넘치는 은혜를 돌아볼 때마다 저는 감사하지 않을 수 없으며, 제 자녀들을 위해 더욱 간절히 기도하게 됩니다.

오늘 아침, 저는 특별히 제 딸들을 위해 기도하고자 합니다. 하나님께서는 저에게 사랑하는 딸, 레미(Lemmie)와 두 명의 귀한 며느리, 은강(EunKang)과 에이미(Amy)를 주셨습니다. 이들은 제게 매우 소중한 존재이며, 저는 이들이 하나님의 사랑과 지혜, 인도하심을 충만히 경험하기를 간절히 소망하며 나의 딸들을 위하여 기도합니다.

아버지의 딸들을 위한 기도

거룩하신 하나님 아버지,

주님은 온 세상의 창조주이시며, 모든 것을 붙드시고 다스리시는 분이십니다. 주님의 지혜는 측량할 수 없으며, 주님의 사랑은 끝이 없습니다. 저는 주님의 선하심과 은혜 앞에 서서 감사와 찬양을 드립니다. 또한, 제게 귀한 딸들을 허락하신 하나님께 마음 깊이 감사드립니다. 주님께서 이들에게 생명을 주셨고, 특별한 목적과 사명을 허락하셨으며, 이제는 그들도 부모가 되어 자녀를 양육하는 귀한 삶을 살아가고 있습니다. 저는 그들을 위해 주님의 신실하신 은혜를 간절히 구합니다.

이 시간, 아버지로서 저는 주님께 세 가지를 간구합니다.

첫째, 무엇보다도 주님을 가까이하게 하소서. 주님, 제 딸들이 무엇보다도 주님을 깊이 알고 경험하게 하시고, 예수 그리스도를 통해 구원의 기쁨을 누리게 하소서. 그들의 삶이 끝나는 날, 주님 앞에 설 때, “잘하였다. 착하고 충성된 종아.” 라는 말씀을 듣게 하소서. 주님의 사랑에 사로잡혀 살게 하시고, 주님의 진리에 순종하는 삶을 살게 하셔서 영원한 하나님 나라에서 주님과 함께 거하게 하옵소서.

둘째, 지혜를 허락하소서. 세상은 수많은 유혹과 도전으로 가득 차 있지만, 주님께서 주시는 지혜로 옳고 거룩한 길을 선택하게 하소서. 그들이 신실한 믿음 안에서 가정을 세우고 자녀를 경건하게 양육할 수 있도록 분별력을 주옵소서. 부모로서의 삶은 거룩한 소명이지만, 동시에 감당하기 어려운 무거운 짐이기도 합니다. 주님께서 그들을 강하게 붙드시고, 세상의 지혜가 아닌 주님께서 주시는 참된 지혜를 구하게 하옵소서. “마땅히 행할 길을 아이에게 가르치라. 그리하면 늙어도 그것을 떠나지 아니하리라.”(잠언 22:6)라는 말씀대로 그들의 자녀들도 주님의 길을 떠나지 않도록 인도하여 주옵소서.

마지막으로, 그리스도의 사랑으로 충만하게 하소서. 참된 사랑은 인간의 힘으로는 불가능하며, 오직 하나님께로부터만 흘러나옵니다. 주님, 제 딸들이 주님의 사랑에 깊이 잠기게 하시고, 그 사랑을 삶 속에서 온전히 나타내게 하소서. 가정에서 남편과 자녀들을 사랑하고 섬길 때, 인내와 친절과 희생이 넘치게 하시고, 그들의 삶이 그리스도의 사랑을 반영하는 거룩한 통로가 되게 하옵소서. 그들이 하나님의 사랑을 깊이 경험하고 그 사랑을 주변의 사람들에게도 흘려보내는 축복의 통로가 되게 하옵소서.

주님, 저의 기도를 들으시고 이 종의 간구를 들어 주옵소서. 저의 딸들은 저에게 소중한 존재이지만, 그들을 가장 사랑하시는 분은 주님이십니다. 저는 그들의 삶을 온전히 주님께 맡기며, 주님께서 그들에게 신실하게 역사하시고 아름다운 계획을 이루실 것을 믿습니다.

이 모든 것을 저의 구주이시며 주님이신 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 기도드립니다.

Title: A Father’s Prayer for His Daughters

God has been exceedingly gracious to me, blessing me with wonderful children who bring joy and meaning to my life. As I reflect on His abundant grace, my heart overflows with gratitude, and I cannot help but lift my children up in prayer. Each one of them is a precious gift from the Lord, entrusted to me for a time, and my greatest desire is for them to walk closely with Him.

This morning, my heart is especially drawn to pray for my daughters. The Lord, in His goodness, has given me a daughter, Lemmie, and two adopted daughters, EunKang and Amy. They are dear to me, and I long for them to experience the fullness of His love, wisdom, and guidance in their lives.

A Father’s Prayer for His Daughters

Heavenly Father,

You are the Creator and Sustainer of all things, the One who spoke the universe into existence and holds it together by Your mighty power. Your wisdom is beyond measure, and Your love is beyond comprehension. I stand in awe of Your goodness and grace, and I thank You for the incredible blessing of my daughters. You have given them life, purpose, and the privilege of raising children of their own, and for that, I praise You.

As they navigate the journey of life and motherhood, I humbly seek Your divine grace upon them. I come before You with a father’s heart, pleading for these three things on their behalf:

First, draw them near to You. Above all else, Lord, let my daughters experience the joy of knowing You personally. May their faith be firmly rooted in the salvation found only in Jesus Christ. When their days on this earth come to an end, may they stand before You, their righteous Judge, and hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.†Let their hearts be captivated by Your love and their lives be marked by obedience to Your truth, so they may dwell in Your presence for all eternity.

Second, grant them wisdom. In a world filled with distractions, challenges, and ever-changing values, help them choose what is right and holy. Give them discernment to lead their families in godliness and integrity. Parenting is a sacred calling, yet it comes with burdens too heavy to carry alone. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them draw wisdom not from the world, but from the source of all understanding. May they train up their children in the way they should go so that when they are old, they will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6).

Last, fill them with the love of Christ. True, unconditional love is not something we can manufacture on our own but it comes only from You. Let my daughters be so deeply immersed in Your love that it overflows into every relationship in their lives. May they love their husbands and children with a love that is patient, kind, and sacrificial. Let them be beacons of Christ’s love to those around them, shining as lights in a dark world. As they experience the depth of Your love, may they reflect it in their words, actions, and daily lives.

O Lord, hear my prayer and grant this servant’s plea. I surrender my daughters into Your hands, knowing that You love them far more than I ever could. I trust in Your perfect plan for their lives and rest in the assurance that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them.

I pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, my Savior and Lord.
